Entries will close on Friday, September 26, 2014, for the 2014 Shepparton National Illawarra Feature Show which coincides with the Illawarra Federal Society Annual Meeting on Saturday 11th October followed by the Federal Board Annual Meeting on Sunday 12th October and the Lemon Grove Stud Dispersal Sale on Monday 13th October 2014.

A $50 per head subsidy will be paid by the Victorian ICSA State Branch to support those exhibitors travelling a distance greater than 200km from Shepparton to attend the show. Bedding and basic hay will also be provided for these cattle should they be required.

There will also be ADDITIONAL prize monies to be won, on top of those advertised in the Shepparton Show Catalogue.  This prize money is being offered thanks to the generous support of Mulcahy & Nelson Livestock, Reid Stockfeeds and the Victorian ICSA Branch.

Prizes for the show, are as per below:

Junior Champion:        Gibson Trophy PLUS $200 from Victorian ICSA Branch
Reserve Junior:        $25 PLUS $100 donated by Reid Stockfeeds
Intermediate Champion:    $75 donated by Willprint PLUS $300 from Victorian ICSA Branch
Reserve Intermediate:        $50 donated by Shepparton Vet Clinic PLUA $100 donated by Reid Stockfeeds
Champion Cow:        $500 from Victorian ICSA State Branch
Reserve Champion:        $75 PLUS  $100 donated by Mulcahy Nelson Livestock.

An Illawarra Dinner has been organised on the Saturday night, 11th October 2014 at the Overlander Hotel (close to showgrounds). The evening will commence at 7pm with drinks followed by a smorgasbord dinner served at 7.30 pm. Cost for the evening is $40.00 per person with a children’s menu option available. Drinks will be at bar prices. The evening will include a quiz, lucky door prizes and presentations for the 2013 Real Australian Cow Photographic Competition.

As part of hosting this year’s Federal meetings and to provide additional prizes for exhibitors at Shepparton Show, the Victorian State Branch is running a Raffle.  Tickets are priced at $5.00 per ticket.

First prize is a heifer from Llandovery Illawarra Stud valued at $1000.00.
Second prize is a choice of 10 straws of either Riversleigh Gilham or Riversleigh Tuck semen, valued at up to $154.00.
