The Red Revolution Sale was held today (Wednesday, April 29, 2015) at Kyabram with 25 Illawarra listed in the catalogue however two lots were withdrawn, Lot 20 - Llandovery Dynamic Topsy 1128 and Lot 48 a package of 5 embryos.
The average price for the Illawarra lots was $3917.39 with all lots sold. Top price animal was Llandovery JR Joan 982, sold for $15,000 to Craig Rapley from New Zealand. The second priced animal, Llandovery JR Joan 1258 (Lot 12) went to P & S Rea of Victoria for $6600. James Breen (Vic) purchased Lot 3, Llandovery Blushs Jinny 1158 for $5000 with Ian and Julie Mueller's Glenbrook Poppy 3 going to K Rattray of Tasmania for $4900.
There was a wide spread of buyers including South Australia and New South Wales.
