The Wide Bay Burnett Illawarra Cattle Club celebrated its 30th birthday recently in conjunction with its annual Calf Day at Woodford Showgrounds.

Forty calves were paraded before Mr Terry Tidcombe who with wife Ursula, travelled from Tatura, Victoria to officiate.  Terry was the very first President of the Club.

The Club celebrated this milestone on March 8, 2009 at the Woodford Showgrounds beginning with a complimentary morning tea followed by the calf judging.  At the completion of judging, the Club provided a luncheon for members and the many past members and invited guests including Dairy Princesses who assisted at the Feature Shows run by the club during the thirty years.  Several Past Office Bearers were also present at the celebrations.

An enjoyable day was had by all.  Congratulations to all involved.
