Qld Branch AGM

Another Queensland Branch AGM has been and gone with Mr Robert Lester staying on as President for another year.

Mr Mike Henry was retained as Treasurer however unfortunately our North Queensland representative, Mr Greg English, stood down as Vice President, due to a very heavy workload at home on the farm.  The Branch is fortunate that long term member and premier breeder, Mr Keith Dorries, agreed to take on the Vice Presidency.

Mrs Alison Teese continues in her role as Publicity Officer.

The main debate of the Annual Meeting was the issue of teat sealing.  Members decided that teat sealing while not encouraged would not be considered as udder tampering.  Tampering with an exhibit’s udder or teat placement is banned by the Queensland Branch of the ICSA.

Branch Secretary, Betty Ledger, reminded all members that 2010 is an election year for the Queensland Branch Committee.
