QUEENSLAND ON FARM CHALLENGE RESULTS

The inaugural Queensland On Farm Challenge has been deemed a success with class winners and overall champion being announced at a well attended dinner hosted by ATICC at Malanda on Thursday, October 4.

Judge, Neville Mueller, was impressed with the number of quality cattle put forward particularly in the 5years and over class.

Overall Champion and Best Udder went to Myrtleholme Ailsa 14 owned by J P Bourke & Co of Gladfield via Warwick.  Ailsa followed up on her show ring success where she was named Champion Cow at Toowoomba Royal in 2012 and 2011.

Reserve Champion went to Riverwood Lucy 2 owned by the Ledger Family, Carters Ridge.  Due to the quality of animals, Judge Neville Mueller named two Honourable Mention animals, Eachamvale CV Princess 7 (G & B English, Malanda) and Myrtleholme Rose 212 (J P Bourke & Co).

Special thanks to Graham Madeley of the UK who took all the photos and generally kept Neville under control.  Thank you also to Neville.

Full results and photos now available see News/Show Results/2012 and Photo Gallery.  Also check out all the entrants on video. Please note that after the numbered placings, animals are in random order.   Just click on the following link:
