J P Bourke & Co experienced a big weekend in Malanda with Shane Bourke celebrating not only the success of their On Farm Challenge team but the announcement that they had also taken out the Michael Ledger Memorial Shield for the Queensland Production Cow of the Year.

Myrtleholme Rose 143 (Loubel Redskin) produced 13974 litres of milk for 1138 kgs Fat Plus Protein at 4.4% Fat and 3.74% Protein.
