The Production Committee is pleased to announce that new National  Mature Age Butterfat and Protein records have been set by the very popular cow GLENBROOK VENUS 19, (Sire Lemon Grove Bumper).

Owned & bred by Ian & Julie Mueller, Venus capped off a successful 2012/2013 producing at 60mths 14448 litres milk 497 kg protein 607 kg fat. This is also the same lactation during which Venus was awarded Supreme Champion Cow at the 2012 Adelaide Royal.

Breaking records is not new to Venus as she currently holds the National S1 & S3 Milk and Protein records from her previous two lactations.

Previous record holder for Butterfat was White Gates Jinny 9 with 598 kgs set in 2005 and the Protein record was 472 kg set by White Gates KL Stella way back in 1993. Both cows were owned by Tony & Ellie Hayes.

This now is the 7th National Production Record held by Glenbrook Illawarras.  Congratulations to the Mueller Family.
