Radel Family Sweeps Pool at Gympie

Graeme, Sue, Robbie and Bec Radel of Happy Valley Stud scooped the pool at Gympie Show, taking out the coveted Champion and Reserve Champion Cow classes.

Happy Valley Dora 63 pipped Happy Valley Dora 65 for the Championship although Dora 65 was awarded Senior Best Udder.

In the battle for Junior Champion Heifer, F S Johnston & Sons' Jondene Tiddlewinks 2 again defeated the Ledger Family's exhibit, Riverwood Joan 2.  Riverwood Joan 2 took out the Best Udder class for Under 3 animals.

F S Johnston & Sons were also successful in the Juvenile Heifer championship with Jondene Dainty 97 which won the 18mths and Under 2 yrs dry class.  Students from the Nambour State High School were excited to take out the Reserve Juvenile Heifer placing with another Jondene animal, this time Dainty 96.

Judge, Keith Dorries of Panorama Stud, Oakey, thanked the Gympie Show Society for the opportunity to judge and congratulated all exhibitors on the standard of their exhibits.
