The Queensland Dairy Showcase held at Gatton is continuing to grow in size with some predicting that it won't be too long before it replaces the Brisbane Ekka as the premier dairy show in Queensland.  However, 2014 saw 52 Illawarras paraded.

J P Bourke & Co exhibited one animal which was enough to score the coveted prizes of senior Best Udder & Attachment and Champion Cow.  Myrtleholme Hope 28 was the standout cow for Judge, Tom Cochrane, Kangawarra Stud, New South Wales.

Another Myrtleholme bred animal, Myrtleholme Charity 32 exhibited by Rob and Jo Lindsay was named Reserve Champion Cow with F S Johnston & Sons' Jondene Envy named Honourable Mention.

In the Junior Championship, Rolly & Sharyn Voss' purchase at the 2013 Illawarra Impact Sale, Tara Bounce 4, claimed the champion ribbon with Jondene Twinkle 33 (F S Johnston & Sons) in Reserve and Jondene Sybil 17, also owned by F S Johnston & Sons as Honourable Mention.  Tara Bounce 4 was also named Junior Best Udder & Attachment, continuing her success from a number of SEQ shows held in the lead up to Gatton.

White Park Polly 468 exhibited by Michael & Glenda Henry was named Champion Juvenile with Reserve going to Peter & Cheryl Ardrey's Jondene Jinny 17 with Tara Panda 9 (M & G Henry) as Honourable Mention.
