The annual Tasmanian Illawarra-Guernsey Calf Day was held recently with over 40 calves on show.  Congratulations to the Bloomfield family from Kimberley, Tasmania, who took home the trophy for Champion Illawarra.  While the Bloomfield family runs a herd of approx 600 Holsteins, they are first time exhibitors in the Illawarra ring and from all reports are very happy with their ten milking Illawarras.  James Peck, an ex-Tasmanian now living in Victoria was Judge.  Top effort.
