The dust has settled for another year in the Illawarra judging ring at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Tim and Natalie Cochrane and the Ringland family fought out the broad ribbons in the juniors with Tim and Nat taking Champion and Honourable Mention and Paul Ringland the Reserve.
In the Intermediates, Paul Ringland again took Reserve, this time losing out to Tom & Kyleigh Cochrane of Reg Cochrane Pastoral who took both Champion and Honourable Mention.
However, Judge, Matt Henry, White Park & Tara Studs, Hodgsonvale, Queensland, gave Paul Ringland and family the top gong of Champion Cow, making it two in a row for the Ringlands. This year, View Mount Poppy 39, was named Senior Champion. Reserve Senior Champion went to Reg Cochrane Pastoral with Kangawarra Jewel 3717 who was also named Senior Best Udder. Honourable mention went to View Mount Landmine Little Patch 14 from the Ringland team.
