Radels' Successful Defence at Gympie

For the second year in a row, Graeme, Sue and Robbie Radel (Radel Discretionary Trust), Happy Valley Stud, Biggenden, Queensland have taken out both Champion and Reserve Champion Cow at the Gympie Show.

Happy Valley April 14 moved up one place this year to take out Champion Cow under Judge, Jason Phillips of Toowoomba.

Park Lane Emerald 42 took the Reserve Championship over the Henry Family’s Tara Tracey as Honorable Mention.

Mike, Glenda, Matt and Rob Henry also who won the Juvenile Champion Heifer with Tara Panda 6 with Kangawarra Passion 3547 owned by Kelvin Cochrane and Ronnie Atholwood being awarded Reserve Champion.  Jondene Dainty 103 (F S Johnston & Sons, Imbil) was named Honorable Mention.

In the Junior Heifers, Riverwood Betsy 33 (Ledger Family, Carters Ridge) was awarded the Championship with F S Johnston & Sons’ Jondene Jessie 7 moving into the Reserve position ahead of another Ledger exhibit Riverwood Lorna 24 (Honorable Mention).
