Honeymoon Not Over for Chitticks

Judging at International Dairy Week, Shepparton has concluded under Australian Judge Graham McPhee, with C R Chittick Pty Ltd being named both Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor.

Laurie and Sandra Chittick of Lemon Grove Stud, Tongala, Victoria, won Champion Cow and Grand Champion Illawarra exhibit with their six years and over in milk animal, Lemon Grove Honeymoon 15.  Honeymoon also won Best Udder.

Reserve Champion Cow went to the Hayes Family of Girarre, Victoria with Llandovery Jordens Queen with Honourable Mention going to the Hurford Family with Redstar Classic Belinda.

Raymond and Sarah Parker of the Glencliffe stud dominated the Intermediate Championship with Glencliffe Joyce 46 being named Champion over Glencliffe Beauty 471 as Reserve.

Junior Champion went to newly engaged couple, Brad Gavinlock and Jessica Achen with Eagle Park Monarch Melba 3527.  Reserve Champion and Honourable Mention went to the Coburn Family of The Sisters, Victoria, with Illinga Jet Red Topsy and Illinga Kickass Eva respectively.

Spectators said while the numbers were a little down, the quality of cattle presented was excellent.
