Congratulations to Daryl and Leanne Preibbenow of Silverleigh Stud, Silverleigh on taking out the Michael Ledger Memorial Shield for the Queensland Illawarra Production Cow of the Year for the 2010-2011 lactation year.

Silverleigh Pixie 17 (Silverleigh Monarch ET) produced 12745 litres, 551 kgs 4.32% Fat and 405 kgs 3.17% Protein.

Queensland Branch Secretary, Betty Ledger, said that it would appear that a number of records have again been broken for the lactation year which runs from 1st July to 30th June, another a great effort by producers.
