Brit to Judge Royal Melbourne

Wendy Young of Newsbury, UK, has been appointed the Judge of the Illawarra section of the 2012 Royal Melbourne Dairy Show.

Wendy runs Churchroyd Milking Shorthorns and has been a member of the UK Shorthorn Society Council for ten years.  At the age of 33 she was the Council's youngest ever President.  Wendy joined the Young Farmers movement in England at a young age and has progressed through their ranks being a past Yorkshire County Chairman and Northern Area Chairman.

Her judging experience is extensive, representing Yorkshire at the National Dairy Judging finals on many occasions and judging at numerous shows including the major appointments of the English Royal Show, Royal Welsh Show, Royal Bath and West Show.  This summer she will judge the Isle of Man Interbreed.
