Tasmanian Branch members enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea at the property of new President, Darryl Herse, Inglenook Stud, Sheffield, following an inspection of his Illawarra herd.

Before the herd inspection, the Branch's Annual Meeting held at the Sheffield Hotel over lunch saw the election of Darryl of President and Ken Jeffrey as Vice President.  The very capable Margaret Austin continues as Secretary/Treasurer.  The Tasmanian Branch Federal Director is Josh Smith.

This small but vibrant Branch allows an avenue for input into the Society's future for its members.  Given that Tasmania appears to be one state where the dairy industry is growing, their membership may receive a boost when the rest of us move there.
