2014 ALL WORLD PHOTO COMP RESULTS

Three Australian Illawarras have seen success in the 2014 All World Red Photographic Competition.

Myrtleholme Rose 212 (Myrtleholme Thorpe) bred and owned by J P Bourke & Co of Gladfield via Warwick in Queensland, was named the Aged Cow Champion with the United Kingdom's Churchroyd Bronte Wildeyes 31 (Stadel) bred and owned by IRG Collins & Partners, in the Reserve position.

In the 4-5 years in milk class, Tim & Natalie Cochrane's Kangawarra Heather 3188 came up trumps.  Sired by Llandovery Jinnys Empire, Kangawarra Heather was bred by the Cochrane family and is now owned by Tim & Natalie who farm at Terara in New South Wales.  Reserve Champion went to the United States and Halpins Ruthanne (Kuszmar Alfairs Othello) bred by Michael Halpin and owned by Elizabeth Rice of Halpin Farms.

Reserve Champion Dry Heifer went to Australia's Eachamvale Suzie 9 (Silverleigh Marquis) bred and owned by Greg and Bronwyn English of Malanda, Queensland whose daughter Rachel also claims ownership.  Suzie was beaten into the reserve position by Buckeye Knoll Plmanzing EXP ET (Mysha-Wo Advent Liriano-ET) bred by Douglas Rhoades and owned by Sarah Rhoades of Greenville, OH.

The 2-3yrs in milk class went to New Zealand's Arran Pring Beaujolais (Treeton Pingerly) bred by Selwyn Donald and owned by the Donald & Syben Partnership of Featherston.  Reserve went to Churchroyd Gentle 92 (Nejay Prince 4) bred and owned by IRG Collins & Partners, Dewsbury, Yorkshire, UK.

Congratulations to Simon Tognola who was the photographer of all three Australian broad ribbon winners.

The competition includes Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States and Canada with each country nominating one entry in each class.  Each country then votes on each class excluding their own country's entry.
