The Colac Classic All Breeds Dairy Sale saw Illawarras top the breed sale average. The top priced Illawarra was the second top price of the sale on account of K & C Gass with Kearla Empire Milly 2nd ET selling to Justin & Brooke Evans of Three Creeks stud, Wangaratta for $6300.
Tony & Elle Hayes' Llandovery JR Joan 984 ET sold to Peter and Mandy Simpson, Marungi, Victoria for $3200 with Peter and Mandy also purchasing Michael Tuhan's Riversleigh Alston Majeda for $2400.
The overall average price for the sale was $3325 with the top priced animal being a Jersey selling for $9100.
The sale followed judging at Colac Show with Neville Mueller of South Australia adjudicating.
Champion cow & Best Udder was Glenbrae Red Empress exhibited by J & G Carson with Reserve going to Hazelmont Pauli Soundstorm (J Breen).
R & A Heath's Amor Viscount Cocktail 1 was named Intermediate Champion with Tony Hayes' Llandovery JR Joan 984 named Reserve.
Riversleigh Alston Majeda (Michael Tuhan) took the junior championship with Dustydowns Tulip (Vicky Winter) Reserve Champion Junior.
